Improving Critical Thinking Ability Through The Project Based Learning Method In The Accounting Principles Subject

This research aims to determine the role of the Project Based Learning model in improving students' critical thinking skills in the accounting principles subject. This research uses a controlled laboratory experiment method with a pretest-posttest control group experimental design consisting of one experimental class and one control class. The research was conducted by 80 accounting study program students as participants. The results of the research show that there is a significant difference between the critical thinking scores between the control class and the experimental class using conventional methods and project based learning methods.
